Hi Lauren. Just curious if you had any background on Ann Giffels? I’m not performing her Sonata, but wanted to read about her and her solo. I couldn’t find anything online. Thanks.

I really don’t, and the teacher I worked on her Sonata with didn’t have much to go on either. Dr Natalie Mannix, at UNT, recorded the piece- if you haven’t already I might try reaching out to her. Best of luck!
